Is the natural compound molecule found in cannabis plant. Unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it's not psychoactive and you won't feel a "high" or become intoxicated.
Both hemp and marijuana plants contain CBD but hemp plants contain more of the CBD compound and have less than less than 0.3% THC. Our beverages contains 20MG of hemp extract oil.
We believe in the entourage effect. Broad spectrum has multiple cannabinoids vs isolate CBD. This is representative of the natural process.
What is CBD?
CBD is the acronym for Cannabidiol, a cannabinoid found naturally occurring in nature, including cannabis.
Where does your CBD come from?
The CBD found in Upwell products is derived from only the finest agricultural hemp grown in Colorado, and is carefully picked using rigorous standards, including emphasis of organic cultivation methods.
Will Upwell drinks make me feel “high”?
In short, no. THC is the cannabinoid that causes the “high” feeling, when consuming cannabis. This cannabinoid is prevalent in marijuana. Upwell sources its CBD and other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN) from hemp, which by classification must contain less than 0.3% THC. Furthermore, Upwell uses scientific processes to identify if any THC is present, and separate it from the oil, prior to infusion.
Is CBD legal?
The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (commonly referred to as the 2018 Farm Bill) resulted in the federal legalization of CBD and hemp. That said, please refer to your state law, as it varies.
Why aluminum cans?
Upwell utilizes aluminum cans for a couple of reasons. First, we believe in the importance of maintaining a sustainable planet, and aluminum cans are infinitely recyclable. Secondly, studies have shown that prolonged UV light exposure can cause significant degradation of cannabinoids; aluminum cans act as the perfect barrier to protect against this degradation.
Will Upwell drinks cause me to fail my drug test?
Upwell products do not contain THC, therefore they should not cause you to fail your THC-tested drug test. That said, due to variables in individual testing methods, it is not recommended to consume products containing CBD, if responsibilities require you to pass drug tests on a consistent basis.
